Minister's Monthly Column

Spiritual Love
February the month containing Valentine Day, a day of celebration dedicated to Love. Of course! I think everyday should be dedicated to love. Therefore, for the content of this column I have chosen to write on Spiritual Love. The pure essence of being that binds together the entire human family. Of all the attributes of God, love is undoubtedly the most beautiful ( RW, Charles Fillmore, pg 124)
In the Thesaurus, I found love as many different applications, of those I found, devotion, regard, worship, and delight in, these I chose to think upon today. These are the forms of love I experience when thinking of God as Father, creator of the universe, the infinite, the eternal, all of which I am a part.
Devotion: God's devotion to me, never waning. My devotion to God, never waning.
Regard: The regard I feel for this omnipotent power in my life.
Worship: The desire to pray in gratitude each day, for the many blessings in my life.
Delight In: The knowledge and truth of my Father--God, with whom I have no limits.
As Minister of Unity Church of Anchorage I am given the blessed opportunity to share my devotion, regard, worship, and delight in God. You to are given this blessing. Every Sunday and any other event you choose to share with others, becomes a special time of recognition of Your Spirituality, the consciousness that relates us directly to our Father—God.
It seems to be a consensus of opinion in our world, that, we are living in a time of change, this is without doubt true in the materialistic veneer of our planet. We may feel it is effecting us in one way or another, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, or even financial. If you feel you are experiencing one of these needs? Dear Friend; You have instant access to the HEALING LOVE OF GOD. There are no conditions on this love. God's love hears with understanding and sees only good. This Valentine Day and each day, in prayer affirm: I let the love of God fill my heart, I then, Speak words of love, and I act in ways of love.
You are invited to join myself and the congregation of Unity of Anchorage, as we worship together and become better acquainted with our Spiritual Nature and seek to see ourselves and others through the eyes of God.
